About Us...
Armada Group's managing partner, Rob Thompson has over 20 years experience in the sports and entertainment event business. Rob a former executive at The Walt Disney Company serving as the National Director of Activation for the Disney Media Group leading the integrated sponsorship sales and activation team overseeing the execution of over 1,000 local events, tours, in-school programs and concerts annually.
Mr. Thompson was instrumental in the development and growth of the global NFL Youth Development Initiative "Play Football" which reached over three million participants in the North America, Asia, Europe, Australia and Latin America.
In the college space, Rob created the UConn FanFest and The Siena Saints Mobile Experience.
